Mustang has its fair share of exquisite temples and spiritual monasteries, imbedded in to the moonlike landscape. But a highlight for many is the warm welcoming smiles of the mustangi or lobas people. Due to thousands of years of isolation, the mustang people have persevered their own fascinating culture and heritage.

According to historians and archeologists, the civilization of Mustang is one of the most ancient human civilizations, renowned as a 'Cave Civilization'.  Mustang has become a destination for those who are curious about this fascinating ancient civilization and intriguing landscape. Politically, Mustang is a place where the king is very much respected as an incarnation of God.
