Enjoy spiritual meditation at the base of Mt Kailash. This trek offers breathtaking sceneries and a unique opportunity to meet fellow pilgrims showing their devotion to this sacred pilgrimage.
The majestic Mount Kaliash, standing at a jawdropping 6,638m. is more than just a mere mountain. It’s a spiritual journey that will change your life forever. The mountain lies close to the source of four of Asia's longest rivers: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra, and Karnali. This impressive mountain is also sacred to four different religions: Jainism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Bon.
According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva, the destroyer of ignorance and illusion, lies at the peak of this mountain in a state of perpetual meditation with his wife Parvati. Buddhists believe that this mountain is home to Buddha Demchok, who represents supreme bliss. For thousands of years, thousands of pilgrims have made a pilgrimage to this holy location every year. This intense enlightening journey takes you to the north face of Mount Kaliash and sacred blue and emerald green Manasarovar Lake.
This breathtaking lake represents purity, containing healing properties and the power to wash off all mortal sins. While on this spitual journey, you will get to fully absorb Tibetan culture and teachings, take part in optional daily meditation sessions, and explore the rich history of Kathmandu at the start of your trip. High Himalayan Trekking and Expedition will design an itinerary and program for Kailash Mansarovar trekking according to an individual clients interest throughout the year.
