Enjoy a beautiful mountain view from Kakani before hiking through the forest on your way to Budhanilakantha, where you will find one of the oldest Hindu temple of Nepal.
Kakani is a hill station on the northern side just 29 km away from Kathmandu. The drive takes just one and half hour. The place is famous for its breathtaking scenery and mountain views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang range, Dorje lakpa and Gaurishankar range. It is interesting how beautiful the views of high mountains and the low-land villages appear from Kakani. The scenery on the way to Kakani is magnificent.
We start our hike from Kakani, walk past dense forests and continue on our smooth easy walking to end our hike at Budhanilkantha one of the oldest Hindu temples in Nepal. It is a really good hike of 5 to 6 hrs but we can take more time to rest and take photographs to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. High Himalayan Trekking organizes a private day hiking trip to our clients anytime throughout the year.
